FEATURING : PARTNER IN MINISTRY — February 23, 2009
I am not the only person working with our DVD bible classes down here in South America. Our ministry has been expanded over the years by others also traveling about Chile, as I do, using our materials to educate pastors as well as their congregations. One of these traveling pastors is Edward Villena. Recently I asked him to send a report of his activities so that you can see how your support is being put to wise use and is glorifying god. A few days ago he sent the following photos and report.
This year he told me that they (Assembly of God) have plans to expand this traveling ministry into Peru, Boliva, Argentina, and some Spanish speaking churches in Brazil. Next month, they also are going to be bringing some of their DVDs for me to copy and add to our library.

I want to explain [to your Supporters] in this email the importance of your ministry in Chile.

"First, our ministry is called School of Christ in Chile, and for 7 years we have been using VHS tapes and now are using DVDs that provide Bible studies and messages. We take these recordings into different remote towns of Chile as well as in other South American countries where the majority of pastors do not have the means to study the word of God.
Secondly, our school had asked for your help, as your materials are very good and because you have the same objective to teach without charging fees. Since we started to work with your materials you have always loaned them without cost to us.
Thirdly, today, as I am writing this email, I am using your DVDs in Purén where there are no pastors with the means to pay for bible courses nor are there any bible institutes nearby offering courses.
Fourthly, your help is especially important during the difficult winters that restrict pastors from traveling. Because of your ministry they do not have to travel somewhere to study, but can continue to study in their churches with their congregations.
Fifthly, I am also using your Bible classes in the capital of Chile, Santiago, where there are many pastors so poor that they cannot take advantage of the Bible institutes. You provide wonderful opportunities for many pastors to study the Word of God.
